Inspired by the wisdom and love passed down through generations of our family, we created Araiza Properties to share the warmth of home and the magic of meaningful experiences with our guests.

Our journey began with The Dixie House in Missoula, Montana, named in honor of Sarah's Grandma Glen Dixie-Jolly. Grandma Glen, with her radiant warmth and joyful spirit, left an indelible mark on our lives. Alongside her Grandpa Mac, they were passionate real estate investors, seeing homes as not just financial investments but as legacies for future generations. Before they passed, they wrote a heartfelt letter to our family, urging us to embrace the value of creating spaces where love and memories could flourish and where we could benefit from the positive investment.

Taking their advice to heart, we named The Dixie House after Grandma Glen’s maiden name, Dixie, as a tribute to her kindness and the family traditions she embodied. We thought about naming it The Jolly House, but the kids laughed that down. The Dixie House became our first vacation rental, a cozy retreat that continues to bring joy to everyone who stays there.

Building on this foundation, we opened Casa de las Estrellas in Apple Valley, Utah. This home is a reflection of our passions and heritage. The name, which means "House of the Stars," celebrates Sarah's lifelong fascination with the cosmos and William’s Mexican roots. Nestled beneath Utah’s pristine dark skies, Casa de las Estrellas offers a breathtaking escape where guests can marvel at the Milky Way and find inspiration in the vastness of the universe. From the fire pit, the North Star shines brightly, a symbol of guidance and wonder.
